A grave with a Celtic cross on an adventure road through a gorgeous mountainscape. I tried making it as somber as possible without making it too dark.

There are at least 60 Celtic crosses in Ireland and several ruins. The Celtic crosses visible today were primarily commissioned and constructed up until the 12th century. The beauty of the crosses are not simply in their simple form but also in the intricate carvings found on many of them. These beautiful crosses were usually used as boundary markers for example where parishes intersected or as a monument surrounding monasteries, cathedrals or churches. The degree of detail and quality of art is something typically associated with treasured Manuscripts, like the Book of Kells. Because we offer a large assortment of Celtic crosses in the forms of necklaces and other Irish gifts we can also offer.
